New year New Hope

Havard vs Cambridge Debate 2008. Time flies. I was there last year (to be clear, I am not the debater). And it turns out to be a very remarkable occasion, I met my first friend in Cambridge, Adys. We spent the chinese new year's eve together (my first without my family); studied in our favorite Betty and Gordon Moore Library; played "hide-and-seek" at the complicated St. John house she lived (she sought her lost guest) and lots of other memories generated before she left Cambridge last August. Friends come and go, however, friendship is eternal.

Today is my 1 year and 8th day in Cambridge. Last year is supposed to be a quiet year ; I joined the university hillwalking club but just walked up the hill with the club once. All in all, I abandon most of my favorite outdoor activities that I was so involved in M'sia last time. Nevertheless, there are still lots of ups and downs for the past 1 year; change supervisor, change the project, and there was even at one time I totally lost my trust on people in Cambridge. God bless, these are all over! With the new project, new people and my angel in Cambridge (my good buddy), life in Cambridge will definitely getting better for this new year. Yeah! I'll work very very hard!
